Jenny Janzer and Haley Lynn dreamed of an art focused magazine that supported women with Pulmonary Hypertension; giving them connection through the vast miles that separate us. Tissues was named by Jenny, to reflect not only the reality of our emotions but where this disease lives.
Support group and the settings of support groups are changing. People want to be real, share - uncensored - and also feel flexible in how and when they do that. Tissues gives women this freedom. To share this information through print, and in a physical magazine that patients and their clinicians can hold is powerful in a digitally driven and censored world.
Through the medium of art and creativity, we provide a space for women to express themselves, share their stories, and connect with others facing similar challenges. From thought-provoking articles to healing poetry and visual art, each issue is crafted with care to address the physical, emotional, and psychological aspects of living with PH. We ship to patients, medical providers, and clinics alike all over the United States including patients in Mexico, Canada and Sweden.
